1. Short Week

   Today is the first day of our Short Week of Work. We are closed for Thanksgiving and the Day after. We have done this for years at our office and everyone likes it, especially the Boys (Nate, Scout and Toby). Why would the dogs like our short week you ask? 2. Snuggle Bugs

   What is it with Dog Beds and Fireplaces that just bring a smile to my face. We have a Gas log fireplace, it is really pretty, but dosen't give too much heat, but the Boys sure like it.
   
   I remade those dog beds the other day and placed them in front of the fire place. They measure 30 x 48" each and so with two side by side there is quite a bit of cushy softness to lay on. Nate has claimed on all on his own. Toby and Scout share the one closes to the fire. When Scout goest...

3. Sewing Room Adventure

   Yesterday I spent 3 hours in my sewing room. I re-made two dog beds that Nate had shredded! I had had this fabric for some time and had just put off doing anything about it. But the need to get rid of or redo the beds finally won out and now that project is done for at least a week, when Nate will decide to tear them up again. I can't leave them in the room with him when I leave the house, or there would be fluff everywhere. He dosen't chew on furniture and he's not a puppy so...

4. Reflections

   Yesterday I took my parents to the Amtrak Train Station to continue their vacation in NC where my Dad is from. This was the first time in over 45 yrs that either of them had been on a train. They were so excited that they could travel in comfort and ease for so litte $$$. It cost $27 each for them to go from Richmond to Raleigh, the trip is 3.5 hours long and no traffic! Then they rented a car and drove to Tramway (outside of Sanford) to my Aunts home. They should have gotten there in 1...
